Graffiti Wall - Participatory Activity for Facilitators
Group Size: 12+
Activity Duration: 1 hour +
Difficulty Level: Intermediate
Materials Required: Large blank canvas or whiteboard mounted to the wall and pens, stickers + any other creative materials

Graffiti walls as public events are extremely engaging, interactive and produce exceptionally stunning results that everyone has ownership of. You can have huge, elaborate graffiti walls or even smaller whiteboards in corporate or small group settings.

Method

Put up a large blank canvas, leave pens, stickers and creative materials and allow participants to write their thoughts, views, ideas and frustrations on the wall for everyone to see. Everyone has an opportunity to contribute.

Outcome:

A visual representation (makes great photos) of what everyone is feeling about a certain topic or situation.
